About the opportunity
This role will see you making a difference in the work you deliver; a chance to use your skills to contribute to the growth and development of your local community whilst being afforded the career development opportunities of a large, dynamic and privately-owned company. You’ll get to:
- Assist with technical drawings of subdivisional road, drainage and water/sewer network designs
- Creating 3D models
- Developing and maintaining the engineering drawings database
- Carry out design calculations whilst working to project timelines and budget
- Manage project administration such as scheduling, estimating, and report preparation
- Problem solve complex design challenges, delivering great solutions for our clients
- Strengthen your communication through gaining exposure to stakeholders such as developers, contractors, construction teams, local authorities and councils
About you

You’ll come to us with:
- A diploma or certificate in engineering drafting or similar qualification (or working towards)
- A curious and proactive nature; ability to challenge the status quo and look for continuous improvement
- An agility to move between different tasks and projects and manage multiple priorities
- Previous experience in civil drafting or a design consultancy in an internship or work experience capacity will be highly regarded.
