Job Description

We are now seeking applications from Project Engineers and Construction Administration professionals to join the team based in our Geelong Office, working on infrastructure and land development projects within the Geelong and South West Victoria Regions. 

 

The Opportunity 

An integral part of the construction team, this role will see you assisting the Project Manager with construction administration. You will be responsible for contractor compliance, with a strong focus on ensuring quality, safety and health. The scope of this role will increase as your confidence builds, so additional tasks and duties will become available to you but initially, some key responsibilities include: 

  • Chairing construction site meetings 

  • Managing on-site compliance audits 

  • Assessing variations, completing reports, cost estimations 

  • Coordinating with a diverse range of stakeholders involved in the project including authorities, developers, clients and contractors. 

 

About You 

This is the ideal role for an experienced Project Engineer looking to continue growing their skills and experience with ambitions to move into Project Management in their future. The selected candidate will have access to knowledgeable Project Managers and take advantage of learning from the best. You will come to us with: 

 

  • Hands-on experience in construction administration within land development projects 

  • The ability to communicate effectively to achieve great results within a complex project environment 

  • A passion for safety and quality assurance 

  • A keen interest in ongoing professional development; desire to learn new tasks and the drive to continue to challenge yourself 

  • Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management will be highly regarded
