Starting salary of $73,000 inclusive of Superannuation.

About Spiire

Job Description

About the opportunity 

Joining as part of our graduate program, this role will see you making a difference in the work you deliver; a chance to use your skills to contribute to the growth and development of your local community whilst being afforded the career development opportunities of a large, dynamic and privately-owned company. You’ll get to:

  • Liaise with contractors, clients, landowners, local authorities and both internal and external stakeholders
  • Operating and setting up surveying equipment
  • Carrying out routing maintenance and adjustments
  • Supporting project surveyors with setouts and subdivision surveying
  • Assisting with small and large scale feature surveys
  • Coordinating survey control networks
  • Gaining an introduction and hands-on experience with laser scanning and UAV/drone technology

  • Bachelor’s degree in surveying, obtained within the last two years
  • A curious and proactive nature; ability to challenge the status quo and look for continuous improvement
  • An agility to move between different tasks and projects and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to deliver information succinctly and present with seamless communication
  • Previous experience in surveying, engineering or cadastral in an internship or work experience capacity will be highly regarded.
