About the opportunity

Our technology team work closely together to support business units and project teams in achieving their objectives. Championing a digital way of thinking, this role will see you provide maintenance of computer desktop environment by analysing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the end users of Spiire. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist over 300 staff across 8 office locations with IT support, including face-to-face, email, and phone assistance for system setups and issue resolution.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalate more complex matters to senior team members, ensuring all actions are handled professionally and in line with business SLAs.
  • Use ITSM tools to log and track helpdesk requests, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Support the deployment of software and setup of new hardware.
  • Provide assistance with design-based applications, including Autodesk Suite, 12D, and Adobe Suite (training provided).
  • Deliver support for Windows and Microsoft Office environments.
  • Assist with basic Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Contribute to IT projects and help with the delivery of technology initiatives.
  • Support the development and improvement of IT policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Communicate clearly with staff, explaining technical concepts in simple and user-friendly terms.

  • A keen interest in IT, with a relevant degree or diploma in Information Technology or related studies (or soon-to-be completed).
  • A basic understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
  • Willingness to learn helpdesk/ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-first mindset.
  • A flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to adapt to new challenges.
  • Good teamwork skills and a collaborative attitude.
  • A current driver’s licence (or ability to obtain one), as occasional travel between Spiire offices may be required.
