About the opportunity
Joining our Melbourne office as part of the Graduate Program, this role will see you making a difference in the work you deliver. This is an excellent opportunity to use your skills to contribute to the growth and development of Victorian communities. While based in our Melbourne office, the projects you work on will span much wider than Melbourne Metropolitan area – working alongside our regional offices, you will also get the opportunity to contribute to our growing regional presence through a variety of exciting projects. Throughout this role, you will also get to:

  • Assist with field and office work under the guidance of a field party surveyor and our team of Licensed Surveyors
  • Utilize the latest technology to ensure project success, such as UAV’s, terrestrial laser scanners and GPS
  • Assist with project administration such as scheduling, and report preparation
  • Problem solve complex mathematical challenges, delivering great solutions for our clients
  • Strengthen your communication through gaining exposure to stakeholders such as developers, contractors, construction teams, local authorities and councils

To be successful, you’ll bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Surveying (within the last two years, or close to completion)
  • A genuine curiosity and interest in land development and infrastructure projects
  • A proactive mindset, with the confidence to contribute ideas and seek better ways of working
  • Adaptability to move between different tasks and projects, managing multiple priorities with ease
  • Strong communication skills—the ability to share information clearly and confidently with colleagues and clients
  • Previous experience in surveying, through internships or work placements, will be highly regarded
